Unlicensed Chromatologist

I am an Austin-based artist, illustrator, and writer hailing from The Bluegrass State. As well as A BFA graduate from Northern Kentucky University and US Army Veteran. After a brief dip into the start-up world as a marketing manager and graphic designer, I jumped ship to ignite a career in the creative world in 2018.

As an illustrator I utilize rich India ink washes and pens to create vividly detailed illustrations. Regularly playing with the symbiosis of nature, technology, and culture. Including literary illustrations based of works such as Paul Bunyan by Shel Silverstein; and character portraits from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.

Recently, I have been playing with large spray-paintings of close-up animal portraits created using a stenciling technique I have developed over the last year. This allows me to roughly translate my inky aesthetic to large birchwood panels

I am currently working on a anthology series of stories written and illustrated by me. It will be a part of my main project house, colorfactoryatx.

Open for commissions.

Currently seeking representation as an illustrator.
