I am an Austin-based artist, illustrator, and writer hailing from The Bluegrass State. As well as A BFA graduate from Northern Kentucky University and US Army Veteran.
I had a brief career in start-ups as a marketing manager and graphic designer, shortly after the Army. I departed from this field to ignite a career in the creative world, taking a full dive in 2018.
As an illustrator I utilize rich India ink washes and pens to create vividly detailed chromatic illustrations. Regularly playing with the symbiosis of nature, technology, and culture. Including literary illustrations based of works such as Paul Bunyan by Shel Silverstein; and character portraits from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.
I spend much of my free time with my beloved bull-chi Rocko and two cats, Leia & Mila, as neighborhood vigilantes in Austin. When I am not hermited away, I take art courses at Austin Community College to continually improve my skills and interact with the art community, allowing me to work on my own projects in tandem.
